  • Yifan Yang studied TCM and WM in Beijing Universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1977 to 1982. After graduation, she worked there as a doctor and a teacher in the Chinese Herbal Formula Department and completed her Master’s degree study in Chinese herbal medicine and formulas. In 1990, she moved to the Netherlands and she works as a practitioner and teacher in the same field. She has been a teacher in Shenzhou for more than 20 years, and holds seminars in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland.

The mental and psychosomatic disorders are often seen in TCM practice. The therapies, particularly acupuncture, herbs, Tuina and lifestyle advice can reduce the suffering of the patients as in TCM mind and body are closely linked together, and the Seven Emotions are considered as the causative factors of disorders. In this webinar series, Dr. Yifan Yang will put her study and experience both in China and in the West together, to discuss a series of mental and psychosomatic disorders and the possibility of treatment in TCM in a dynamic way. Meanwhile, she will give valuable advice and tips for therapy selection, sequence, prognosis, cautions, limitations as well as how to work together with present psychotherapies and medications in western medicine.

Van iedere klacht zullen de oorzaak, klinische symptomen etc aan bod komen, waarna manipulaties voor de specifieke klacht getoond zullen worden. Lower limbs Musculoskeletal Pain – pathology and treatment by Acupuncture and Osteopathy

Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most frequent reason for consultation in my own clinic.
In my experience, Acupuncture and Osteopathic medicine are two effective techniques and they are synergistic in treating pain.
Often pain is generically reported to a small or a widespread area of a joint, together with somewhat rigidity and it can be difficult to identify the Acupuncture Channel interested by a musculoskeletal pain.
Osteopathic manipulative treatment’s aim is to bring back joints in their physiological position, reduce pain and limitation of the movement, and help to identify the channel that needs to be treated with Acupuncture.
