Jun Huang first graduated from Guangxi University with a diploma in Chinese Language and Literature. Later she also graduated from Xiamen University with a diploma in Chinese Medicine and a specialisation in Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Before she went to study at Xiamen University, she already did an apprenticeship for 7 years with Master Gao Ji Ping in his clinic in Weifang Shandong. She also has a Tui-Na Therapeutic Massage certificate from the Chinese Work Ministry. Jun Huang is the fifth disciple of Dr. Chuan-Min Wang, one of the direct disciples of Dr. Tung Jing-Chang, the systematiser of the centuries old Tung Method of Acupuncture, an ancient Daoist Medical method.
