Apprenticeship

From the first year, during the Foundations of Chinese Medicine course, students begin developing their skills in pulse and tongue diagnosis as part of the four diagnostic methods, and continue to refine their case analysis abilities in the years that follow. Depending on their chosen pathway, they are trained in acupuncture techniques, herbal prescription, or Tuina manipulation. To bring theory to life and further develop their practical skills, all students must complete an extended period of mandatory clinical training. For further details, please refer to Study Information / Practical Training and Internships.

For a three-year TCM programme, the total internship requirement is 300 hours.
