Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling (FSN) advanced

This one-day advanced course is designated for acupuncturists and FSN practitioners who have had basic training and have been using FSN therapy for certain length of times. In the meantime, practitioners may have faced difficulties such as insertion pain, unable to produce instant pain-relieving effects, or unable to perform muscle reperfusion. This is a problem-solving seminar. It is a well-balanced with FSN rationale and hands-on practice.

Contents of the seminar:
• Muscles and blood circulation
• Assessment of muscle tension and its clinical value
• Shoulder and lower back issues and effective FSN management.

Students are welcome to bring their patients who have less effects for acupuncture or FSN therapy to the seminar, and lecturer will analyse and give treatment in class.

 

  • Jidong WuJidong Wu has worked as professor at Nanjing University of TCM and moved to England in 1993. Since then he has been academically and clinically active in the Chinese medicine field.

Landscape and architecture – Names of acupuncture points and their functions

In Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine, it indicates where the Qi flows out gets a related name on the point.  In the book Additional Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold, it states that the names of acupuncture points are not from fantasy but are given with profound thought and deep meanings.
