How to run your Practice successfully

As a therapist, you are mainly trained as a professional who gives the right treatments and advice to the patient. But to successfully run your own practice, entrepreneurship is also expected of you. This theme often remains underexposed during the study and the period immediately following it. This training 'Active in practice' offers a complete format so that you can start your own practice with success and confidence from the start.

‘Research is easy… if you do it alright’

‘Research is easy… if you do it alright’

As a complementary practitioner you may look up to barriers in collecting scientific data from your practice, as research is still dominated by conventional medicine. But ‘Soccer is not difficult when you do it right’ – as a well-known Dutch football player said - and this is also valid for sharing of scientific knowledge. How fruitful for your work would it be when you can learn from each other’s experience and know how? For yourself and for complementary medicine. By finding ways to share each other’s knowledge, your insight deepens in your diagnostic and therapeutic work, through which its quality may grow. And that is the purpose of this seminar: support your own therapeutic work with data and results, in an accessible way.

Lower limbs Musculoskeletal Pain – pathology and treatment by Acupuncture and Osteopathy

Lower limbs Musculoskeletal Pain – pathology and treatment by Acupuncture and Osteopathy

Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most frequent reason for consultation in my own clinic. In my experience, Acupuncture and Osteopathic medicine are two effective techniques and they are synergistic in treating pain. Often pain is generically reported to a small or a widespread area of a joint, together with somewhat rigidity and it can be difficult to identify the Acupuncture Channel interested by a musculoskeletal pain. Osteopathic manipulative treatment’s aim is to bring back joints in their physiological position, reduce pain and limitation of the movement, and help to identify the channel that needs to be treated with Acupuncture.
