This course will give you:
• A general introduction to Five Element Acupuncture. Its core principles, its unique way of diagnosis and the simplicity of its treatment.

• Direct experience of sound, odour, emotion and colour in terms of Elements in nature and in human beings.

• The opportunity of being diagnosed and observing other participants being diagnosed in terms of Five Elements.

• The experience of seeing a complete treatment being carried out in front of the class.

After this 2-day introductory course, your understanding of the Elements will be expanded and deepened. And you will have a beter understanding of yourself and your patients. You will begin to view symptoms in the context of a patient’s whole life.
You will have a general idea of this ancient, wonderful, effective, complete system of acupuncture, catching a glimpse of its beauty and simplicity, its profundity and life-transforming effects.

  • Mei LongMei Long studied in China and has about 30 years’ clinical experience in traditional Chinese medicine. Trained by Nora Franglen, she has specialized in Five Element Acupuncture (5EA) and was the first person to take it back to China, where it had been lost. As vice president of the China Five Element Acupuncture Society, Mei Long has been engaged in running seminars and training acupuncturists in China over the last ten years. Since 2003 Mei Long has run her own practice in classical Chinese medicine in Leusden in the Netherlands, where she receives patients from all over the world.
