Professional conduct
Professional conduct and common polite behavior are expected from our students, not only in class but also in the clinic during the apprenticeship. In health-care, care of the patient has first priority. Therefore, during practical training sessions, the student is not only judged on the technical aspects of the treatment, but also on his or her mental attitude. The supervising doctor may make a comment in the student's practical training report in case of, e.g.: not following given orders, unprofessional attitude towards patients or an incorrect attitude towards the teacher or fellow students. The SOU has the right to exclude a student from the exam or further study if his or her behavior conflicts with the safe and good practice of TCM.
